Dr Lizzie Dove is a Gold Coast base general dentist with skills in aesthetic dentistry and clear aligner treatments.

Composite bonding with no tooth preparation was executed by Dr Dove to close the gap between this patient’s two front teeth.
Composite resin layering techniques using enamel and dentine shades were implemented to create the natural variation in tooth shade and match existing tooth structure.
This was a great non-invasive option for this patient who did not want to pursue orthodontic treatment options to move teeth and close the space. Luckily in this case the natural central teeth being slim allowed for the additional width to be added and the teeth not to appear too wide. Every case is unique and requires careful consideration of the impact changes will have on overall aesthetics.

This patient was happy with the shape of her teeth and overall smile but disliked the discolouration. The patient had tried whitening options and enamel micro abrasion with little improvement.
All ceramic veneers were placed on the six front teeth to create a more uniform colour and hide the naturally discoloured teeth from the patient's smile.

Dr Lizzie Dove became an accredited Invisalign provider in 2013. She was fortunate to have the opportunity to work with the Post Graduate School of Dentistry as a researcher to help develop and deliver their course, the Graduate Diploma of Aesthetic Orthodontics (Sequential Aligner Therapy) to fellow dentists. In doing this she gained a keen understanding of dental and facial aesthetics and the skills in delivering multidiscipline treatment involving both Invisalign and aesthetic procedures such as composite bonding, veneers and crowns.
